Out Of Province Auto Inspections
The Out Of Province Inspection is required for all vehicles that are to be registered in Alberta that were previously registered and plated in another province. The Out of Province Vehicle Inspection is very extensive, requiring that all brake wear parameters be recorded, the car’s computer system scanned for any codes, and all safety functions tested for proper operation. Vehicles are road tested for drivability issues, and to ensure they meet all safety guidelines. Some vehicles require the removal of parts to obtain measurements the government forms require. All components must be within manufacture’s specifications. Out of Province Auto Inspections can only be performed by a certified technician, and the shop must be a registered inspection facility.

Automobile Insurance Inspections – Edmonton
An Auto Insurance Inspection is required by an insurance company if a vehicle is older than 10 to 12 years, or if the vehicle is new to the insurance company and has never been insured by them. An Auto Insurance Inspection checks all of a vehicle’s safety items, as well as its structural integrity.
